Way back on Sunday the 29th of May, I led a night at Cafe Church about the problem of evil - where is God in a world of disasters?

I spent over a month grappling my yawning disappointment with God's inaction when it comes to intervening in disasters and suffering... and in the course of that time my own perspectives were shaken to the core.

From the ashes of my thoughts arose a different way of looking at God - not a watertight theology by any stretch, but for me a way forward into the unknown... with God as a companion rather than a know-it-all deity.
