Who We Are

CafeChurch exists to offer an intentional, non-traditional Christian faith community.
Jesus teaches us to ‘Love God and love others as you love yourself’.

Sunday Night Café Church and Sunday afternoon Kaos Church are our faith community's primary public gatherings.

Sunday worship affords us space to focus on our spiritual journey together and for new people to discover their spiritual journey with us.

What we do flows out of our spiritual journey as followers of Jesus. However, we welcome and encorage people of all faiths, or none, to engage with us and to reflect on issues of faith and justice.

CafeChurch and KaosChurch are congregations of the Uniting Church in Australia (UCA) but the people who attend our events come from many different Christian and non-Christian backgrounds.

There are also smaller home groups, which meet around Sydney to share food, faith, to pray and support one another. 'Cafe Church East' currently meets on Wednesday nights in Clovelly. To join or start a home group please contact us here.
