Who We Are

CafeChurch is committed to many forms of hospitality. We aim to be open, inclusive and to allow people from diverse backgrounds to make space for themselves in our community.

Kaos Church and Sunday Night CafeChurch each have a hospitality team. These teams exist to think through the logistics of how to make our spaces and events more hospitable, cosy and inclusive, without making people feel as though they're being swamped by a hoard of over-friendly "welcomers".

CafeChurchers sometimes host 'Meet 2 Eat' events in their homes for newer and older CafeChurchers to connect socially over a meal.

We also aim to provide hospitality to the local community. The 'CafeChurch Community House' is a nearby residence inhabited by CafeChurchers who are committed to learning about, embodying and providing the kind of radical hospitality that Jesus modelled for us.
